I Quit: Here’s Why

Hey, friends! Brace yourselves, because I have got big news:

I am wrapping up my journey with Unlock Meaning.

Did that catch you off guard?

I know it’s a bold move. But hey, every ending is but a new beginning in disguise. In this blog, I will take you through the why’s, the what’s and the exciting new adventures that lie ahead.

I Quit: Here’s Why

1. Less is More

Let’s rewind a bit to the moment it all hit me like a ton of bricks. Ever been there? Juggling multiple projects, thinking you are crushing it, only to realize you are spreading yourself thinner than a dollar store pancake?

Remember the blog (and video) on, “I Quit and It Paid Off: How Changing My Mindset Allowed Me to Succeed”? Yeah, it hit home. We discussed the mindset shift needed for success, the kind that makes you dance on the edge of your comfort zone.

God gives us dreams, right? Sometimes, they are massive — dreams that scare us. But they force us to trust in something greater than ourselves. In my own maze of tasks, I found a revelation: it’s not about doing more; it’s about doing what truly matters.

In other words: less is more.

Warren Buffet became one of the most successful investors focusing on a few businesses he understands. He said,

“For every 100 great opportunities that are brought to me, I say no 99 times.”

2. Identify and Prioritize Your Big Three Goals

That’s why I now have three big goals every year. Just three.

I heeded Jim Collin’s advice.

“If you have more than five priorities, you have none.”

I found the sweet spot to be three. It’s challenging enough while being manageable at the same time.

We all know that the one who chases too many rabbits catches none.

3. Be Your Future Self

So why am I quitting this great channel? It has grown over the years. It transformed lives and I am thankful for all the positive reviews. Most importantly, I really enjoyed it.

While reflecting at the end of the year, I applied the Future Self concept. In my video and blog “Bringing Your Vision to Life: Tips for Making Your Future Self a Reality”, I have suggested that you must be clear about what God has planned for you to accomplish it.

As self-help guru and author Napoleon Hill said,

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

Who is my future self?

  • I am a thriving Kingdom-minded entrepreneur building businesses for transformation
  • I am a best-selling author
  • I am a thought leader

I quit this channel to focus on my big three’s:

  • Business development of a medicine production facility in a developing country.
  • Books:
    • My first book Single for a Season is still selling and I’m exploring options to translate it into other languages.
    • My second book is completed and I want to publish it this year. It will empower you to a Life of Purpose and Leave an Eternal Legacy.
    • And I’m preparing the writing of my third book.
  • Thought leader: I recently launched the Smart Biotech Scientist podcast which reached 1,000 downloads within one month.

Being clear on my future self helps me eliminate smaller goals that don’t take me toward our future selves. I realized that I was spread too thin. I had to chip away good things to be able to focus on the best things.

4. Make a 10X Leap

Now, let’s talk about the next steps. Dan Sullivan once said, “10X is easier than 2X.” Intriguing, right? Think about it. 2X keeps you in the past; 10X takes you to the future.

In this 10X mindset, your thinking, ideas, decision-making — they all transform. Small goals don’t spark excitement. So, what’s your big leap this year? Visualize your 10X jump in three years. Where will you be? How will you have improved?

And as I step away from Unlock Meaning, know this — it’s a time to recharge, rethink, and reignite. The 10X vision fires me up. The second book is ready to hit shelves, the podcast for Biotech scientists is booming, and peak experiences with friends and family await.

Because here's the truth: a 10X year is all about making a big leap, just like reaching for the moon. A vision so colossal, it changes the game. Are you ready to make that leap? Let’s do this!

5. Live a Life of Significance

Ever dreamed of living a life of significance? It’s not for the faint-hearted. Courage, discipline, compassion — they are your companions on this journey.

Basketball Coach Wooden’s principles echo in the wind. It’s not just about winning games; it’s about winning in life. I want to live a life of meaning and purpose.

Now, I am quitting the channel. But here’s the good news. Let’s see how long. And I will post shorter and raw videos once in a while. In particular, closer to the release of my second book.

I want to thank you for being my loyal fans. It’s been a true pleasure.

That’s it, friends. As we close this chapter, envision the applause — not just from others, but from yourself for making the bold decisions.

This is your moment, own it.

Your 10X journey Starts Now

Make this year your masterpiece! Remember, I might be stepping away from my channel, but I am stepping into a world full of opportunities. And I can’t wait to share my journey with you.

So, let’s make the leap and dive into the great unknown together. Here’s to a year of growth, transformation, and 10X leaps.

Thanks for being loyal companions in this wonderful journey.

I hope to see you in the next one!

Until then, keep growing!
